Between Seasons

It seems as if just yesterday was early fall.

Leaves changing from summer green to magnificent shades of red, yellow and orange then falling to the ground.

“Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children, play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.” ~ Mr. Rogers

As November came to a close, families gathered.

A time to be thankful and overeat.

The next season is upon us.

Christmas and winter hard to ignore.

Bare trees.

Shorter days.

Colder nights.

And Christmas lights.
