As I wait for my newly thrown clay pieces to air dry, the back yard has been keeping me busy.
Between the unusual cool wet weather and back yard critters (rabbits and squirrels) our garden isn’t doing well. We have yet to pick a ripe tomato!
Plants I rescued from the garden are doing well though…

Because basil does not like to be cold and wet, I transplanted it from the garden to a pot.
Today, my potted basil is doing much better!

The rabbits LOVE my dill!
So, I planted more in a pot and I am keeping it close to the house!

My ONE and ONLY marigold that did not succumb to garden slugs.
I thought I would try to grow spaghetti squash. From the looks of the plants they need to be trellised. 😳
Since I’ve been busy with other things this week, my work bench is available for a long afternoon nap.

I can almost SMELL that beautiful green basil and I LOVE, LOVE kitty! 🐈
