Winter Solstice

The first day of the Winter Solstice ~ the shortest day of the year here in the Northern Hemisphere.

Chilly but no snow today.

A sigh of relief and joy as parcels and packages have reached their destinations!

I’ve made my lists and I’m checking them twice, three times and more!

The house is quiet.

Savoring simple joys.

I think winter is the season for introverts. It’s the time of year when Mother Nature begs us to slow down and curl up. The world around us seems to take a collective breath.
