Not much pottery today but a lot of neglected behind the scene stuff.
I spent the better part of today at the computer thinking of words.
Words.
Words describing my pottery in my Etsy shop.
I use words every day yet when I try to write, words are elusive.
This is why I am not a writer.
Well, I do write, but words just do not mellifluously fall out of my head onto the paper or key board.
It is a struggle for me to find words to describe my thoughts in writing.

I like the fact that you removed the “Likes” button. Pretty ballsy move, but I completely understand.
As to words: I like to write, but when it comes to “selling” myself (like writing words for your Etsy shop), I get blocked. Not sure why. Maybe we are too harsh on ourselves, and don’t want to “lie”.
Ah, yes. Silencing the self critic is tough. I think it takes practice and time to write honestly without being critical of ourselves. Keep on blogging 😀
