Between Seasons

It seems as if just yesterday was early fall.

Leaves changing from summer green to magnificent shades of red, yellow and orange then falling to the ground.

As November came to a close, families gathered.

A time to be thankful and overeat.

The next season is upon us.

Christmas and winter hard to ignore.

Bare trees.

Shorter days.

Colder nights.

And Christmas lights.
