Autumn on My Back Porch

Time to pack up my tool box and put my pottery wheel away.

I have a couple more firings to do of larger pieces that take up a lot of room in the kiln such as plates. I love making plates but because they take up so much room I just don’t make many ~ 1 plate per shelf and I can only get 4 plates in my kiln at a time. Of course, there are such things as Plate Setters and Racks I could purchase but I just don’t make/sell that many plates. Or, I need a larger kiln! LOL

Working diligently to put our garden beds to bed and saving seeds. Pictured below are Marigold seeds (foreground) and dried Zinna flower heads full of seeds (background).

I dug up Gladiolus bulbs from the front yard (running out of room!) and looking to plant them somewhere in the back yard.
