A River Runs Through

May has been one of the wettest months of 2026.

Word has it, this May was the 4th wettest May every recorded.

In our area, we had 4.62 inches in 90 minutes.

With the ground heavily saturated from five to six days of rain, water had no where to go except through our back yard.

The photographs simply did not do the torrent of water any justice so I made a video!

(First video ever on my blog!)

Luckily, the raised garden beds were just high enough to keep the rushing water from washing everything away.

Nothing but sunny skies in the forecast for the next five days!

Finally, I’ll be back behind the wheel throwing things!
