Life in April

Spring has sprung!

100 pounds of clay!

Playing in the mud, indoors, of course!

Still a bit too chilly for the back porch.

I am making bowls using slabs of clay draped over a mold.

Finishing the rims of these three bowls while enjoying while enjoying a cup of coffee in a handmade mug πŸ˜‰

Next, the bowls will need to dry. When completely air dried, they will be placed in the kiln for a bisque fire (preparation for glaze) and then a glaze fire.

While waiting for the bowls to dry, I made these using scrap pieces of clay.

They will become magnets and placed into each order as a thank you.

Orders with a thank you magnet completed and ready to mail.

April hath put a spirit of youth in everything.

~William Shakespeare
