It is official.
I am completely sold out. 😳
All of my pottery pieces found new homes in 2022! 🥳
Meanwhile, I am enjoying a few of my handmade kitchen prep bowls and wine glass that had slight imperfections such as cracked bottoms or a glaze snafu. These imperfections don’t happen often but when they do, I try to make the best of it.
Imperfect yet useful . . .you know . . . kind of like us humans!

By the way, prepping for tonights dinner of Creamy Cauliflower Soup:
6 cups of vegetable or chicken broth
1 head of cauliflower, cored and chopped into bite sized pieces (I riced the cauliflower in a food processor)
1 onion, diced
2 celery stalks, minced leaves and all
4 carrots, chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
2 teaspoons of sea salt (if you don’t use sea salt, Google salt equivalence)
1 teaspoon ground thyme
1/2 teaspoon of ground pepper
4 cups of coarsely chopped kale leaves ( I used spinach because I rarely have kale. Who does? LOL)
- In a large pot, combine all ingredients except kale (or spinach). Bring to a boil then cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Ladle out the soup into a blender and blend on low. BE CAREFUL BLENDING HOT LIQUIDS~THEY TEND TO EXPLODE 😱 ~ blend on LOW! (My blender will not hold 6 cups of liquid. So, I poured the soup into a large bowl then ladled out the soup into the blender in several batches)
- Return blended soup into the pot. Stir in the chopped kale leaves or spinach. Cook until kale is wilted. Spinach will wilt immediately.
- Serve hot with your favorite sandwich and salad.
Happy New Year!
Ok that’s supposed to say Congratulations! 🙃
